Terms of Service for Capture the Flag (CTF) Competition

1. Acceptance of Terms

By participating in this Capture the Flag (CTF) competition, you agree to comply with the rules and regulations outlined in this Terms of Service. Any violation of these terms may result in immediate disqualification, removal from the event, and potential legal actions depending on the severity of the violation.

2. Permitted Actions

The CTF competition is designed for ethical hacking in a controlled environment. You are authorized only to exploit vulnerabilities on challenges explicitly designated as part of the competition.

3. Prohibited Activities

Participants are strictly prohibited from engaging in the following activities:

• Unauthorized Exploitation:

  • You are not allowed to hack, attack, or exploit any vulnerabilities on the domain or subdomains that host this CTF competition, except for the challenges specifically provided for testing.
  • Attacks on any websites or servers outside of the scope of the CTF challenges, including any affiliated or unaffiliated domains and subdomains, are strictly prohibited.

• Damage or Impairment:

  • You must not cause any harm, damage, or disruption to the website, server infrastructure, or any other services used to host this CTF event.
  • Actions that impair or hinder the availability, accessibility, or performance of the CTF platform or the server infrastructure, including but not limited to DoS (Denial of Service) attacks or resource exhaustion, are prohibited.

• Interference with Other Participants:

  • You are prohibited from interfering with the participation of others in the competition by tampering with their accounts, progress, or attempts to solve challenges.

4. Scope of Authorized Testing

The scope of authorized testing is limited to the challenges provided as part of the CTF competition. You must only attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in these challenges and not in the infrastructure that hosts the CTF itself. Any hacking attempts beyond the scope of provided challenges, including but not limited to those on the hosting domain, subdomains, or related servers, are strictly forbidden.

5. Consequences of Violations

Any violation of these Terms of Service will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the competition. Further, depending on the nature of the violation, the organizing team may report your actions to legal authorities and pursue legal recourse.

6. Legal Compliance

All participants must adhere to applicable local and international laws governing hacking, ethical hacking, and cybersecurity. Violations of such laws may lead to severe legal consequences beyond the scope of this competition.

The organizers reserve the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to regularly review the terms for updates.
